Evening talk - Solitary : Britain’s Native Bees and Wasps

In a talk arranged by the Devon Wildlife Trust Barnstaple and District local group, Kim Leaver will be talking about the fascinating world of solitary bees and wasps their habits, mimics, parasites and some tips on how to identify them.

Kim has been studying and recording bees and wasps in Devon for many years. He is a member of the Devonshire Association Entomology group and Devon Moth Group.

In this presentation he will share with us his photographs and experiences recording and studying solitary bees and wasps (with some exceptions).

Doors open at 7pm and we ask for an entry donation of £3 to cover costs of the event with any surplus being used for North Devon based conservation activities.
